Joining me are Jimmy Roberts, Ryan Cross, and Lorca Hart. This is a cool new room in LA right at the 405 Fwy and Sunset Blvd. Do drop in. The GRAMMY Museum at Nokia Theatre will be happening all week December 3-7. More details click on the Recording Academy link below. My new album, STORYTELLER is being played on 88.1 FM KJAZZ in Long Beach, the world's leading jazz and blues station. Click here for their web broadcast, online playist, and request line. My fans are getting more involved with my music every day. I approved three new YouTube videos using my music in the past couple of weeks-Making Love, Nadine, and Japanese Girl. To check out the NEW videos, go to youtube.com and type in "rob mullins." TOP NEWS: Denver's crowd was a great one to play to for the October 18 show at the new City Hall Event Center. The gig was sold out, and it was great to play with Joe Anderies, Nelson Rangell, and Russell Bizzett again. My buddy Regas created a very cool venue out there. I'll be back! The release of "Jazz Straight Ahead" has been going well. Both KJAZZ in Long Beach and KUVO in Denver are playing cuts from the album. You can get a free download of the title track over at allaboutjazz.com. My former student Jonathan Blake is up for top honors at the LA Music Awards this year. Join us on November 20 at the Henry Fonda Music Box Theatre in Hollywood to see how it pans out. September 11 2008: I posted a 7 year anniversary update to the 911 tribute page and released my live version of "America the Beautiful" on iTunes and Amazon. Rob Mullins song "Prime Time" goes to #1 on All About Jazz download chart. view chart Rob Mullins Bio: The best description I can give about my music is that it is personal. I write songs about things I've done, people I have met, feelings that I feel that I want to share with other people. Click a link, listen, experience, enjoy, and share with your friends. MUSIC EDUCATION: It is a proven fact that people who are musically literate do better in all the other aspects of their lives. Towards the improvement of all of us, musical study should not be forsaken. A deep understanding of the music that went before our generation broadens the life which we can lead today and into tomorrow. Study music. For me, I have always had a passion for jazz which got me excited to learn jazz piano. Music will enrich your life in every way. You can check out some of my students' work if you click on the talent showcase link. My album "Standards and More" was recorded live and is straight up straight ahead jazz while my "Storyteller" album is completely modern and very different-more like going with me on my journeys around the world. "Winter Dreams" is all about the holiday season and features solo piano along with a Christmas medley. "Soulscape" and "Red Shoes" are both albums I did in the 80's while "Joyful Noyz" was a 1999 release that became my top album pick at All Music Guide. Just click any of the covers to check them out. Have a good one.
