ALUMNI NEWS: Sarah Ingraham and Jonathan Blake plus Gwen Scott CD.

As of February 2009, both of my students Jonathan Blake and Sarah Ingraham have completed my Student2Artist program and are out in the world promoting their new CD's which I created and produced. Sarah received the NEW AGE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR AWARD at the LA Music Awards in 2007. Longtime student Sophia Melon got signed to a record deal with DISNEY records.
Karen Audra and I worked on music together and got it on MTV's "Real World" during a spring episode. Gwen Scott recorded her first CD as part of the Student2Artist program after two years of study.
My book "Jazz Piano Voicings" is now being sold at the pretigious college Berklee School of Music.
Workshops for the MTAC (Music Teacher's Association of California) have been successful in Orange County CA as I have been training classical music teachers in the art of jazz music and jazz piano curriculum such as my book "Let's Play Jazz".

The reason for the success of my coaching program is simple: I give students exactly what they need at their lessons, and show them the fastest pathway to achieve their goals. I concentrate strongly on the fundamentals of musicianship while working on music that excites the student. I will eliminate your frustration quickly and get you on the right path. My belief is the universal nature of music has led me to invent a new music education system that is working for vocalists and instrumentalists in all styles of music. During a typical week at my teaching studio, I will work on songwriting for a recording artist, teach harmony to an Indian musician, coach an actress or two for upcoming performances on stage and screen, and help improvising musicians learn to play piano, trumpet, guitar and sax at a higher level than they did before. I also specialize in helping singers that play instruments learn how to sing and play their instrument correctly at the same time. My recording studio class focuses on mic techniques, vocal stylings, arranging, and song organization for professional results.

I run a unique and special curriculum tied to the music industry and specialize in helping students make their music and increase their performance levels much faster than other programs.
